How to Credit a Third-Party Font License
A downloaded font is not automatically free to use on a client site. Before deploy from app.clincoo.buzz, read the license of each font file in the project.
Find the license name at the source
On the download page, note whether the license is SIL Open Font License, Apache, or a commercial license that forbids embedding. OFL usually allows web use as long as the font is not sold as a new font product. A desktop-only license does not always allow @font-face.
Keep the license file in the project
Place OFL.txt or LICENSE in the font folder and do not delete it while cleaning files in editor.clincoo.buzz. If the license asks for credit, add one footer line: font name, author, and license link.
Do not mix files under different licenses
Renaming a font file does not change the license duty. If a client wants a paid font, keep the purchase proof outside the public repo. System fonts such as Georgia need no credit.
Clincoo user-content rules are in the Terms of Service. Asset license responsibility stays with the site author.
