Getting Started
How to Add a Second Page to a Project
A home page alone is not a real site. A second page is a new HTML file in the same project, not a new project. Do the work in editor.clincoo.buzz.
A safe copy
- In the file tree, create about.html in the same folder as index.html.
- Copy the HTML skeleton from index.html: doctype, head, and the CSS link.
- Replace the title and body. Do not paste the whole stylesheet into the file.
Relative links
From index.html, the link to the second page is about.html, not an absolute URL. From about.html, link home with index.html or ./. Images stay ../gambar/foto.jpg only if the file sits in a subfolder.
- Click every link in the preview, including the footer.
- If CSS disappears on the second page, the stylesheet href is one level off.
- Keep file names lowercase and without spaces so deploy does not care about case.
Save, then deploy again
Save both files, check the preview, then deploy. The new page is not on the internet until the next deploy. Deploy quota is counted at app.clincoo.buzz.
