How to Manage Cookies and Browser Permissions
A session cookie keeps you signed in at app.clincoo.buzz and editor.clincoo.buzz. That cookie is not permission to track visitors on a site you deploy. Those two ideas get mixed up often.
Clincoo account cookies
- Open site settings in the browser for app.clincoo.buzz.
- The session cookie can stay so the editor does not sign you out on every refresh.
- On a shared computer, sign out when you finish instead of only closing the tab.
Permissions you do not need
- Refuse notifications, camera, and location if the project does not use them.
- Microphone permission is not required to edit HTML.
- Clearing cookies signs you out. Save work in the editor first.
A notice on your site
If the site you publish sets a third-party analytics cookie, put a short footer line: what is stored, why, and a link to the privacy policy. Do not copy someone else's banner without matching the tools you actually use.
How account data is collected is covered in the Clincoo privacy policy on this blog.
