How to Fix a Form That Does Not Submit
A form that stays still after a click almost always fails in HTML or in the JavaScript handler, not on the server first. Test it in the editor.clincoo.buzz preview before blaming the endpoint.
Keep the button inside the form
A type="submit" button must sit inside the form tag, or have a form attribute pointing at the form id. type="button" does not submit. Pressing Enter in a text input only submits when there is one submit button.
Give inputs a name
Only controls with a name attribute are included in FormData and the query string. An id alone is not enough. Check required and type="email": the browser blocks the submit when the value fails, usually with a validation bubble near the input.
Check preventDefault
If the script calls event.preventDefault() and then forgets fetch, the page does not navigate and the data goes nowhere. Log at the start of the handler. If the log never appears, the form selector is wrong or an earlier error stopped the script.
For Clincoo account forms, continue from app.clincoo.buzz. For a form on a site you build, fix the HTML first, then wire action or fetch.
